From Feb 10–Jun 30, 2019, SCHAUWERK Sindelfingen presents OPHELIA, a solo museum exhibition by Nadja Verena Marcin. The exhibition features a live performance where Marcin, immersed in a saline solution and wearing Ophelia’s dress, attempts to recite Daniil Kharms’ text The Werld, reflecting on human perception and the destruction of nature. Alongside the performance and video installation of OPHELIA, the exhibition includes Marcin’s other works, including How to Undress in Front of Your Husband and Zero Gravity, engaging visitors with a powerful critique of societal norms and ecological concerns.
