Spor Klübü’s annual One Night Group Show will take place on November 28, 2025, at Kolonie Wedding, Berlin. Since 2005, the exhibition series has drawn on quotes from earlier decades—most often the 1980s—to reflect on Europe’s shifting cultural and political narratives. This year’s theme, Europe Without End, considers the continent’s ongoing legacies, suspended between moments of euphoria and states of uncertainty. Among many participating artists—including Janne Hoeltermann, Alex Lebus, Niina Lehtonen Braun, and ANna Tautfest—Nadja Verena Marcin will present her C-print Man (2007). In this work, an almost naked young woman painted grey stages an intimate encounter with the equally naked figure of Ernst Wenck’s 1912 sculpture Money Counter. By embracing the once-authoritative stone figure, she transforms him into a passive, mythic presence—reversing power roles and mirroring the shifting dynamics of contemporary society.
