OPHELIA is featured in EIGENGRAU by Leon Skottnik, newly published by Parasitenpresse (Cologne, 2025). The book traces intersections between art and language, where perception, reflection, and imagination converge. Skottnik’s text “The Dive” (“Der Tauchgang”) draws inspiration from Nadja Verena Marcin’s performance OPHELIA, translating the act of submerging—floating between water and silence—into a meditation on fear, transformation, and renewal. Connecting OPHELIA with Jenny Holzer’s Xenon for Duisburg (2004), EIGENGRAU explores artistic spaces where body, projection, and disappearance unfold in shifting states of visibility. With reflections on works by Richard Serra, James Turrell, Anish Kapoor, Jeanne-Claude and Christo, Damien Hirst, Joseph Beuys, Ron Mueck, and Robert Smithson.
