From Oct 13-17, 2021, Nadja Verena Marcin’s video artwork The Great Dictator is featured in the physical exhibition of the 17th Athens Digital Arts Festival, Tāctus, held at the Bath House of the Winds within the newly unveiled Museum of Modern Greek Culture in Athens. Selected as one of 157 works from over 350 included in the online program, the exhibition marks the grand opening of this historic museum, comprising 18 restored 19th- and 20th-century buildings. Marcin’s work, a thought-provoking reimagining of Charlie Chaplin’s iconic speech, critically examines themes of power and manipulation, aligning seamlessly with the festival’s exploration of tactile interaction and digital connectivity.
