Nadja Verena Marcin’s The Cube will be presented as part of CHIMERA, Denniston Hill’s large-scale collective installation in the main exhibition In Minor Keys at the 61st Venice Biennale, on view at the Central Pavilion in the Giardini, Venice, from May 9 to November 22, 2026. Combining sculpture, video, and performance, The Cube reflects on mortality, social structures, memory, and collective care through a cyborg-like self-portrait constructed from aluminum, resin, human hair, and embedded moving images. Presented among 154 participating artists curated by Megan Steinman, the work explores the fragile balance between individuality and shared responsibility within shifting social and artistic systems.
