Glitch Phenomena 3.0

Mar 22 – Jun 30, 2023
Digitalvilla Potsdam

The exhibition Glitch Phenomena 3.0 took place from April 24 to June 30, 2024, at the Digitalvilla in Babelsberg, featuring Nadja Verena Marcin’s #SOPHYGRAY: A Feminist Audio Bot. This interactive art project critically examined the patriarchal structures embedded in virtual assistants, allowing visitors to engage with the feminist audio bot through an immersive installation or a mobile app.

The program included an artist talk on April 24 and a digital writing workshop on May 17. Both events explored the theoretical foundation of #SOPHYGRAY, including Legacy Russell’s Glitch Feminism. Curated by Verena Voigt M.A., the exhibition combined digital art, feminist theory, and glitch aesthetics.
