Nadja Verena Marcin will present her project #SOPHYGRAY at the WRO Biennale 2023: Fungible Content in Wrocław, Poland, from May 10–27, 2023. #SOPHYGRAY is an installation, performance, and mobile app that challenges the biases and stereotypes embedded in AI technologies from a feminist perspective. The biennale, themed Fungible Content, features a stellar lineup including Józef Robakowski, Norman Leto, Rosa Menkman, The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA, and Total Refusal, showcasing a wide range of innovative media art practices. The WRO Biennale 2023 explores the fluidity of meaning and communication in media art, emphasizing collaboration, inclusivity, and the mutability of social symbols through interactive and participatory practices.
